REFUND & RETURN POLICY

At SEMCO Equipment Sales, customer satisfaction and product integrity are our top priorities. Please review our detailed policy before initiating a return or refund request.

1. RETURN PERIOD

Customers have 30 days from the delivery date to request a return. To begin a return, contact sales@semcogroup.us with your order number and reason for return. Returns without prior authorization will not be accepted.

2. ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURN

  • Product must be unused and in the same condition as received.
  • All original packaging, tags, manuals, and accessories must be intact.
  • A valid proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation) is required.

3. DAMAGES OR DEFECTS

Inspect your shipment immediately upon delivery. If your order is defective, damaged, or incorrect, notify us within 48 hours of receipt. We will assess and provide a suitable resolution.

  • Manufacturing defects or damage on arrival: Covered under warranty. Returns not required; repairs or part replacements will be arranged at no cost.
  • Post-delivery damage due to misuse or alteration: Not eligible for return; may be reviewed under warranty at our discretion.

4. RETURN POLICY FOR NON-DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

Non-defective items may be returned within 30 days of receipt, subject to inspection and restocking fees.

  • Unused, like-new items: Up to 25% restocking fee.
  • Used but functional items: Up to 40% restocking fee.
  • Modified or damaged items: Up to 70% restocking fee.

Return freight and packaging (including crates) are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

5. EXCHANGES

For a replacement, initiate a return for the original item and place a new order. We replace only items defective or severely damaged upon delivery.

6. REFUNDS

After inspection, approved refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.

  • PayPal refunds: Subject to a 2.25% processing fee.
  • If refund not received within 15 business days, contact sales@semcogroup.us.

7. LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS

  • Verify your bank or credit card account for posted refunds.
  • Contact your card issuer to confirm processing times.
  • If still unresolved after 15 business days, email sales@semcogroup.us.

8. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following products cannot be returned:

  • Perishable or consumable items
  • Personal hygiene or safety products
  • Custom or made-to-order equipment
  • Hazardous materials or flammable goods
  • Gift cards and promotional sale items

9. WOODEN CRATES & FREIGHT RETURNS

Heavy equipment such as excavators and skid steers are shipped in secure steel-reinforced wooden crates. Crates are required for safe return shipping and are non-refundable. Customers must secure equipment properly before pickup.

10. HOW TO START A RETURN

  1. Email sales@semcogroup.us with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Wait for authorization and a prepaid return label.
  3. Pack the product securely in its original crate or packaging.
  4. Our carrier will coordinate pickup directly.

Restocking fees will be applied after inspection. Unauthorized returns will be refused.
