Shipping & Delivery Policy (USA)
Last updated: November 16, 2025
This Shipping Policy explains how orders placed on SemcoGroup.us are processed, shipped, and delivered within the United States.
01 Where We Ship
We currently ship to physical addresses within the contiguous United States (the lower 48 states).
- We cannot ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
- Rural or remote locations may require additional coordination with the carrier.
For Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations, please contact us before placing your order so we can review options and, where possible, provide a custom freight quote.
02 Shipping Methods
We use two primary shipping methods, depending on the products in your order:
- LTL freight (large machines & equipment) – used for mini excavators, larger attachments, and palletized equipment. Shipments are delivered by freight truck, usually with a scheduled delivery call from the carrier.
- Parcel / ground services (smaller items) – used for small attachments, parts, and accessories, typically delivered via standard ground carriers (e.g., UPS, FedEx, or similar).
The applicable method for your order will depend on the items in your cart and will be reflected at checkout and/or on the product page.
03 Shipping Costs
Large machines & equipment
- For qualifying large equipment orders to the contiguous U.S., we offer free freight shipping and professional ground-level unloading, unless clearly stated otherwise on the product page.
- Additional fees may apply for locations with limited truck access or special site constraints that require extra equipment or services.
Attachments, parts & smaller orders
- Many smaller orders ship free above a certain cart value, as indicated on our website and/or at checkout.
- Orders below that threshold may incur a shipping fee, calculated and displayed at checkout before you confirm payment.
04 Order Processing Time
Before your order ships, we verify payment, prepare the equipment, and book the carrier:
- Typical processing time: 2–5 business days after your order is confirmed.
- Processing includes order verification, payment clearance, machine prep and inspection (for equipment), packing, and booking the appropriate freight or parcel service.
During peak periods, holidays, or times of unusually high order volume, processing may move toward the upper end of this range.
05 Transit Time After Dispatch
Once your order has left our facility, transit times vary based on carrier, destination, and shipment type. As a general guide:
- Estimated delivery window: around 6–13 business days after dispatch for most addresses in the contiguous U.S.
- Rural or hard-to-access locations may experience slightly longer transit times.
These timeframes are estimates only. Weather, carrier capacity, and other factors outside our control can affect delivery.
06 Delivery Appointments & Unloading (Freight)
For large machine deliveries shipped via LTL freight:
- The carrier generally calls ahead to schedule a delivery appointment using the phone number provided at checkout.
- Ground-level unloading is included as part of our standard service (for example, liftgate or suitable unloading method, depending on the shipment).
- Your delivery address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck. Please inform us in advance if your site has restricted access so we can coordinate an appropriate solution.
If the carrier cannot access the site safely, or no one is available at the agreed time, re-delivery, storage, or access fees charged by the carrier may be passed on to the customer.
07 Order Status & Tracking
After you place an order, you will receive:
- An Order Confirmation email shortly after checkout, confirming that we have received your order.
- A Dispatch / Shipping Confirmation once your order ships, including tracking information and/or a freight Bill of Lading (BOL) number.
You can also check your status via our Order Tracking page on SemcoGroup.us using your order details.
08 Address Accuracy & Changes
Please ensure your shipping address, email, and phone number are entered correctly at checkout.
- If you need to adjust your shipping address after placing an order, contact us as soon as possible.
- Once a shipment has been booked or dispatched, changes may be difficult or impossible, and any re-routing or re-delivery charges imposed by the carrier may be billed to you.
09 Shipment Inspection, Damage & Loss
We strongly recommend inspecting your shipment on arrival:
- Before signing the delivery receipt, check the crate, packaging, and visible areas of the product for damage or shortage.
- Note any damage or missing items on the driver’s paperwork/BOL before signing, and take clear photos if possible.
If you discover concealed damage after unpacking, please keep all packaging, take photos, and contact us promptly with your order number and details so we can work with you and the carrier on a resolution in line with our Delivery & Unloading and Refund policies.
10 Delays Outside Our Control
While we and our carrier partners aim to deliver on time, Semco Group cannot be held responsible for delays caused by factors outside our control, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather or natural disasters
- Carrier capacity issues or operational disruptions
- Road closures, accidents, or labor strikes
- Governmental restrictions or other force majeure events
In such cases, we will support you in tracking your shipment and communicating with the carrier, but cannot guarantee a specific delivery date.
11 Cancellations After Shipment
If an order is cancelled after it has shipped or while in transit, it may be treated as a return rather than a simple cancellation.
In that case, freight costs, return freight, and any applicable restocking fees will be handled according to our Refund Policy and any specific terms stated on your product page.
