DELIVERY & UNLOADING POLICY

Professional, safe, and fully coordinated delivery across the continental United States — with complimentary unloading service included.

FREE SHIPPING AND UNLOADING SERVICE

SEMCO proudly provides complimentary ground shipping and professional unloading for all eligible equipment orders within the continental United States (lower 48 states).

You do not need to arrange a forklift or lifting equipment. Our logistics team manages unloading directly with our certified freight partners to ensure your machinery is delivered and placed safely at ground level.

Once shipped, the carrier will contact you to schedule your delivery window. Please ensure someone is available on-site to receive and sign for the equipment. Placement will occur at ground level in a clear, accessible location (not indoors or inside structures).

DELIVERY OPTIONS

Option 1: Flatbed with Forklift Delivery

  • Our transportation team confirms your location’s accessibility prior to shipping.
  • Freight is routed to your nearest delivery hub for local scheduling.
  • Carrier contacts you to set a 2–4 hour weekday window (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
  • Driver unloads the crate using an onboard forklift and places it safely on your property.

Option 2: Final Mile Delivery Service

  • For limited-access or complex sites, SEMCO arranges delivery through a Final Mile Service Partner.
  • Freight is picked up from the terminal and delivered using tilt-bed or hydraulic equipment.
  • Placement occurs at the nearest safe, accessible ground-level location.

DELIVERY COORDINATION

You’ll be contacted prior to delivery to confirm scheduling. Please make sure your site can accommodate large trucks and unloading equipment. Driveways or access points should be clear to prevent delays.

IMPORTANT DELIVERY TERMS

  • Someone must be available to accept and sign for delivery during the confirmed window.
  • Failed or refused deliveries may incur storage, re-delivery, or return fees up to 15%.
  • Do not coordinate third-party unloading — SEMCO manages all unloading for safety and liability purposes.
  • Independent arrangements are at the customer’s risk and not eligible for reimbursement.

NON-CONTIGUOUS STATES & CUSTOM SHIPPING

Complimentary shipping and unloading apply to the contiguous U.S. only. Customers in Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico should contact our logistics team to receive a custom freight quote and confirm service availability.
